Read John 20: 30-31
Have you ever wondered about the point of this book, the Gospel According to John? There are so many themes and metaphors that run through the book that I won’t even begin to write for fear of leaving the most important ones out. John gives us a clear statement toward the end of the book as to why exactly he wrote it. He wrote so that you and I may know the truth of what happened in the life of Jesus (and most recently in this book the account of His death and resurrection). Throughout history there have been those that have sought to erase the accounts of John and the other Gospels, but God has preserved His Word because He desires for people to be saved. The question for today is this:

The question for today is this:
- Do you believe it? --- Do you really believe it? Have you actually received life through Him?
- If not, go to the end of this book and sincerely give your heart to Christ today! He died for you and desires to be known by you!
- If so, like yesterday and others, rejoice, that you have seen the light and have been called into the light. Pray also for those who have not seen the light, those who still walk in darkness, that their eyes be opened and their hearts receive the Jesus we have read about this week.
